About

Five years writing .NET code taught me how systems break. Design is where I went to stop that from happening.

I spent 2016 to 2021 as an engineer at TCS, then moved into UX and product design in-house at Infosys, on the Finacle unit, in November 2021. I lead experience design for the customer-facing Finacle Support Center: research, information architecture, and interface work on a portal used by partner banks, rebuilt through a platform migration. Alongside it, I own the internal side of the unit, brand, communications, webinars, the design culture the team runs on day to day. Right now I'm looking for what's next: a product or UX design role at a startup or product company in Bangalore.

Finacle Knowledge Portal

Professional work · NDA-sanitized

A navigation and search redesign for Finacle's customer support portal, backed by in-person research with bank IT teams and a feature restoration I pushed for after a platform migration quietly dropped it.

PowerEase — BESCOM Mitra

Validated with real users

BESCOM's official bill-payment app had quietly lost user trust — a UPI flow that needed a second phone, bills that stayed "pending" days after payment, no way to compare usage across accounts. I reframed it as a trust problem rather than a features gap and redesigned around three pillars: same-device payment, timestamped certainty, and a clear usage dashboard. I put the hi-fi prototype in front of the same people whose frustrations shaped it — one said she wished this were the real app.

Preschool management platform

Client pitch delivered

Aura Preschool (anonymized) ran on manual WhatsApp broadcasts and Gmail notices that got buried, with class photos posted only to Facebook — quietly excluding any parent without an account. As a parent there myself, I'd missed notices this way. I designed and built a role-based PWA — separate admin, teacher, and parent experiences — with an automated meal planner, notifications, a photo gallery, and WhatsApp broadcast integration. I demoed the working app to school leadership and shared a formal RFP; the proposal is now under consideration.
